Resources
Here are some useful resources for children, parents and carers, family members, loved ones and professionals who need support or advice for children and young people impacted by cancer.
Featured Resources
Cancer Fund for Children Comic Book
Daniel and Noah are young people who have been impacted by cancer and have gone on to become members of our Youth Engagement Group. Based on their experiences, they decided that it would be useful to have a resource to introduce our services to young people in a way that was fun, engaging and interactive. So they came up with the “How Can They Help Me” comic!
BSP School Staff Resource
Our #iWill bereaved advocacy group has developed a set of bereavement resources for schools. The resources which include a bereavement support plan and a guidance booklet for school staff have been created by young people who have experienced bereavement to help enhance and inform bereavement support in schools.
The aim of the #iWill project is to ensure that schools are safe and comfortable spaces for bereaved young people and to ensure their voices are heard in shaping their support.
