June 20, 2020 - July 21, 2020
EVENT: Challenge 32; do a challenge based around the number 32 or 3.2
DATE: Starts from Saturday 20th June – but you can join whenever suits you!
SIGN UP: Quick & easy, just go to https://bit.ly/CancerFundforChildren
FUNDRAISING: Go for it! Whatever you may be able to raise will be massively appreciated.
Could you run around your back garden for 3.2 kilometres, do 32 press ups with the dog on your back, or bake 32 cakes for the neighbours? From Saturday 20th June, join thousands of people across Ireland and take on the #ChallengeThirtyTwo to support children and young people impacted by cancer.
Cancer won’t stop during the coronavirus pandemic, so neither will we! We’ve seen a 90% drop in our income, but vulnerable young people still need us. We’re continuing to provide a lifeline of emotional and therapeutic support, but we can’t do that without you. We need your help now more than ever, so that children diagnosed with cancer, like Tessa who was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma last year, can continue to be supported by Cancer Fund for Children.
How do I get involved?
Sign up to ChallengeThirtyTwo via JustGiving: https://bit.ly/CancerFundforChildren
It couldn’t be easier. This is a challenge for everyone – all ages and abilities. You can take part on your own, with your family or friends and even the kids.
All you need to do is think of an activity based around the numbers 32 or 3.2 and complete it on or from 20th June – just in time for the lovely, sunny summer solstice weekend.
Why 32? Because there are 32 counties in Ireland. So your challenge could be something as simple as running 3.2 miles, drawing 32 things, doing 320 jumping jacks or juggling for 32 minutes! Check out this handy guide for more ideas and inspiration: https://challenge32.justgiving.com/get-inspired
Don’t worry about leaving the house or flat if you don’t want to. If you do, just make sure you’re following the latest Government guidelines.
The main thing is getting active, having fun, and raising as much as we can to support children and young people impacted by cancer.
