Cellnex Ireland Supports Cancer Fund for Children
We recently hosted our inaugural Daisy Golf Classic at Carton house. The sun was shining as 18 four-balls teed off at the event which was sponsored by Irish Telecommunications Infrastructure Provider Cellnex Ireland.
As well as sponsoring the Daisy Golf Classic, we are delighted that Cellnex Ireland will sponsor our Christmas Lunch and our Gala Ball.
At the Daisy Golf Classic Cellnex Ireland presented our Trustee Donal O’Shaughnessy with a cheque for a staggering €25,000. The funds donated will help us build a much needed second therapeutic centre for children across Ireland diagnosed with cancer and their families. We can currently only provide one in seven families with a therapeutic short break at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co. Down which is why we urgently need to build another Daisy Lodge in Cong Co. Mayo.
Colin Cunningham, Cellnex Ireland Managing Director comments on this sponsorship:
“Cellnex Ireland are proud to support Cancer Fund for Children, who do such amazing work on a day-to-day basis to support children and families dealing with cancer diagnosis. The recent golf outing, along with other calendar events, our industry Gala Ball and Christmas lunch, which Cellnex are delighted to sponsor and promote are important in raising much-needed funds. Along with the fundraising element, is the importance of spreading the message and raising awareness about such an important cause. A sincere thank you to everyone who attended our golf outing, and I look forward to the ongoing association between Cancer Fund for Children and Cellnex Ireland.”
We thank Cellnex Ireland for their fantastic commitment to help us ensure that no child has to face cancer alone. As we work to increase our support in Ireland this sponsorship will help our plans go a long way.
